We’ve been changing lives for 150 years, and now is the time to anticipate what comes next.

Equipped with a fund-raising consultant’s survey confirming overwhelming support for Emporia State, the Emporia State University Foundation is launching a comprehensive fund-raising campaign.

Now and Forever: The Campaign for Emporia State University engages alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends in a mission to imagine and create, explains DenaSue Potestio, president of the Emporia State Foundation and vice president for university advancement.

“We’re moving very fast, and ready to take that quantum leap forward,” says Potestio.

“I am deeply privileged to partner with Emporia State’s president, Dr. Michael D. Shonrock, our Foundation Board of Trustees, our alumni, and our community to lead what will be the largest, most comprehensive campaign in our history,” Potestio continues.

The comprehensive campaign working goal of $45-plus million and a vision goal of $63 million speaks to the enormous value that alumni and friends place on Emporia State.

At the campaign’s core are 18 Big Ideas, each of them the work of imaginations, dreams, and forward-thinking practicality about the future of workforce demands. They’re reflections of a simple but elegant philosophy that is transforming Emporia State: recruit students, teach and retain them, encourage them to graduate—and ultimately put them on a path to a solid career.
